Yes, they used GameMaker Studios 2 to make the game. Although I'm not to sure about them using GameMaker severs.

Did you know that GameMaker 2 isn’t so different from GameMaker 1? Problem is that all of those other games are mainly made on illegal cracked GameMakers, even though they could’ve bought it for 1$.
